temsor Stitch Beta

Turn a name into an embroidery file. Beta

Type the name, choose the font and what it goes on. You see it at real size straight away; one click makes the stitch file with a preview and an honest quality check.

Or paste a column from a spreadsheet. "Name | Surname" puts the surname on a second line; a CSV uses its "name" column (else the first) and a "surname" or "line 2" column. Up to 60 names.

How it works

  1. Type the name

Up to 30 characters per line, including ç, ğ, ı, İ, ö, ş and ü, with an optional second line for a surname, team or class. Capitals follow the page's language rules (i becomes İ in Turkish).

  2. Pick the item

Towel, baby set, jersey or cap sets the letter height and the widest the name can be; you can change the height.

  3. Check the size

The preview shows the finished width and letter height in millimetres and warns when letters get too small to sew cleanly.

  4. Make the file

The name is drawn on your device and digitized by the same engine as our logo tool: PES, DST, JEF, EXP and VP3, with a stitch preview.

Sizes we start from

Towel

25 mm letters, up to 180 mm wide. Terry pile swallows thin stitches: use a water-soluble topping.

Baby set

15 mm letters, up to 90 mm wide, for bodysuits, bibs and blankets. Stretchy knit: use a cut-away stabiliser.

Jersey

50 mm letters, up to 280 mm wide, for a name across the back.

Cap

20 mm letters, up to 110 mm wide and 50 mm tall, the front panel of a cap hoop.

Questions

How small can letters be?

About 5 mm tall for capitals and 6–7 mm for mixed case; a script font needs a little more. Smaller than that and satin letters close up. The studio warns you before you make the file.

Are Turkish letters supported?

Yes. Every font includes ç, ğ, ı, İ, ö, ş and ü (and â, î, û), and the studio refuses any letter a font lacks instead of swapping in another font.

Which file do I need?

PES for Brother and Baby Lock, JEF for Janome, VP3 for Husqvarna Viking and Pfaff, DST for most commercial machines, EXP for Melco and Bernina.

Can I make a whole team or class at once?

Yes: switch to "List of names", paste up to 60 names or open a CSV, and download one zip with a file per name plus a names.csv with each size and status.

Is it free?

Yes, with no signup.
